The Office of Social Orientation and Community Development (SOCD) is designed to implement Enderun’s goal of internalizing a commitment to achieving the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in individual members and the totality of the Enderun organization, and realize that commitment through developmental projects in external communities-in-need that are within Enderun’s reach.

SOCD’s programs promote knowledge of economic and social needs, in particular sustainable and inclusive community development; based on stakeholder participation; and avoid the pitfalls of assistance based solely on charity. The programs are also practical and measurable with the end goal of creating a responsible community in which stakeholders work together.

Figuratively, the office is Enderun’s “heart and hand” that tries to hold its internal community together in a commitment to purpose; actively partner with local government communities and; extend participatory assistance where it is most needed.
