Sarmiento, Alexi
Languages
Ms. Alunan teaches Spanish language and culture. She earned her bachelor's degree in Humanities and master's in Education at the Ateneo de Manila University. Prior to Enderun, Ms. Alunan taught Spanish and English to elementary and college students. Aside from Spanish, she can speak conversational Tagalog, Ilonggo, and basic Mandarin.

Aquino, Gerardo
Languages
Mr. Aquino acquired his bachelor’s degree in Education, majoring in Filipino, from Philippine Normal University. He previously taught at Concordia College in Manila, and has headed the Filipino Department of the College of Arts and Sciences at Manila Doctors College. He is taking his master’s in Teaching, majoring in Filipino, at the Graduate School of Philippine Normal University.

Ardivilla, Jose Santos
Humanities and Social Sciences
Famous cartoonist Jose Ardivilla obtained his bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and master’s in Art Studies from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. He used to be an Art Director for Manila Standard and a Cartoonist for The Philippine Star. Mr. Ardivilla was also a writer for various print and online publications— Manila Standard Today, GMA7 Online, spot.ph to name a few.

Bel S. Castro
Hotel Administration
Ms. Bel S. Castro is one of the founding faculty members of Enderun Colleges and is currently Asst. Dean of the College of Hospitality Management. Prior to joining Enderun, Ms. Castro enjoyed a career which spanned the fields of advertising, public relations, events management, line production, as well as hospitality. Her academic credentials include a degree in Restaurant Operations from Le Cordon Bleu in Australia and a Master of Arts in Gastronomy, a double-badged program of Le Cordon Bleu and the University of Adelaide in South Australia. Ms. Bel also oversees all wine programs offered by Enderun Extension. In addition to holding a Level 3 Award in Wine & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (UK), she has also successfully completed the WSET Wine Educator’s Programme. Her personal interests are centered on food history, cuisine, and culture. Her research in these fields has led to invitations to present her work on several occasions at the Symposium of Australian Gastronomy, and also at the prestigious Oxford Symposium of Food and Cookery.
